Empowering Leaders to Lead

This project builds on BAF’s CREATE programme, working with 10 participants ready to make the step change into leadership in the Creative and Cultural Industries.

It provides a mix of training and development which includes placement opportunities with arts professionals and mainstream organisations, knowledge sharing, and sign posting to progression routes in the arts and cultural sector that will enable candidates to take the lead.

Creative Renewal Enterprise Arts Training and Empowerment

Are you at a crossroad or dead-end in your practice?  Are you looking for inspiration and support? Join a new hub of artists in North Birmingham to deliver a range of arts activities and events.

BAF is planning a series of interactive, thought-provoking sessions to support a range of artists to take their ‘next steps’.  A mini series, CREATE Phase II, will be delivered on Fridays in August & September 2018 at the new arts hub at Grosvenor Road Studios in Birchfield.

BAF Elders Project

The Elders Project was BAF’s first partnership and was with Midlands Arts Centre. It provided a range of arts and cultural activity for Elders in Aston & Newtown led by both emerging and established artists. The project enabled us to explore a model for co-designing through supported delivery of the arts in local communities.
