Creative Renewal Enterprise Arts Training and Empowerment

Are you at a crossroad or dead-end in your practice?  Are you looking for inspiration and support? Join a new hub of artists in North Birmingham to deliver a range of arts activities and events 2019-2021.

BAF is planning a series of interactive, thought-provoking sessions to support a range of artists to take their ‘next steps’.  A mini series, CREATE Phase II, will be delivered on Fridays in August & September 2018 at the new arts hub at Grosvenor Road Studios in Birchfield.

BAF/MAC Elders Project

The Elders Project is BAF’s first partnership project with MAC. It provided a range of arts and cultural activity for Elders in Aston & Newtown led by both emerging and established artists. The project enabled us to explore a model for co-designing through supported delivery of the arts in local communities.

During 2018 - 2019 Black Arts Forum's 'Music Exposed Project' will be piloting a music development programme to showcase regional singers and musicians both  experienced and emerging. Look out of this addition to BAF.

Birmingham is renown for its musical talent and the amount of live music available in the city. Black Arts Forum is keen to encourage and nurture the musical talent by continuing support to the legacy of music and performance culture in the city and beyond.
